How the Calculator Works

The calculator uses the Michaelis–Menten equation:

v = (Vmax × [S]) / (Km + [S])
  

Where:
• Vmax = maximum reaction velocity
• Km = Michaelis constant
• [S] = substrate concentration
• v = reaction velocity

Example

Vmax = 120  
Km = 30  
[S] = 10  

Possible Output:
Reaction Velocity = 30
